Shell Blood for Oil (2007) is often misunderstood as a direct accusation of multinational capitalism. According to the artist, the work is a kind of confession rather than accusation. "Most of my pieces are hugely misinterpreted. I'm not so much against big corporations but the everyday people, you and I. We are the people that make these corporations; we are the people that support them and only have ourselves to blame."
